Tyra Banks Show and Vag

I've yet to watch this and I've heard mixed things about a recent episode of the "Tyra Banks Show," which focuses on "married virgins," but it's great that she's bringing the topic of vaginismus into the mainstream. Any thoughts?

  1. We are sorry to hear of your suffering. Having seen the show we feel the most wonderful thing is that Tyra brought vaginismus out for the general public to understand. As specialists in treating vaginismus we so often hear from our patients "if only we had the word". If you have not been to our website please visit us at www.womentc.com Should you be interested we also have a Facebook group, Vaginismus a private pain.
Your stories are written beautifully and we are sure that they help those who read them.

  2. I am newly married and suffering with Vaginismus. I think its great that people are bringing this condition into the spotlight. There are many women suffering in silence and they need help.

  3. I have been married for three and half years and tried many different treatments. I've heard about women who were helped by traditional chinese medicine, homeopathy and the bowen therapy. Try it out!!

  4. I am 20 years old and have been suffering from vaginismus for almost 2 years. I am down to the point where I just do not know what t do anymore. I'm depressed and sad all the time. I have tried dialators and did not improve much. I have hard of the botox for vaginismus but I have not found anyone who does it in california.

  5. I too suffer from it. Don't give up girls! I've just started a dilator treatment and have spoken with many women who have overcome it this way with perseverance. You just have to keep your head high and try and find a positive attitude about the situation. This is a chance for you to get to know yourself better :) I suggest trying the dilators again, seeing a sex therapist or checking out other peoples stories. It helps to know that there are lots of women out there with the same issue! It's easier said than done, but try to change your perspective, there will be good days and bad days, but if you keep trying to figure it out it will get better with time. Patience is the key to this kind of success :) good luck!
